Meet Romford

Hi! I'm Vishal Sood. 

I’m a Mortgage and Protection Adviser based in Romford, Essex. I have lived in East London my entire life and know the local area and surrounding communities extremely well.

I have worked in financial services as a mortgage adviser since 2007, when I first became qualified, and have built up a wealth of experience helping clients from all walks of life. I joined Just Mortgages in 2017, and my proudest moment with the company to date came in 2022 when I finished as top broker.

I support clients across Romford and nearby areas including Gidea Park, Hornchurch, Collier Row, Harold Hill, Upminster, Chadwell Heath, Ilford and the wider Havering, Essex and East London area. Whether you are a first-time buyer, moving home, remortgaging or looking for protection advice, my aim is to make the process feel clear, straightforward and well supported.

Romford is a busy and well-connected area with a strong local community, from Romford Market and Raphael Park to nearby Hornchurch, Upminster and the green spaces around Havering. Having such strong local knowledge helps me support clients as they take their next step on the property ladder.

Outside of work, I am kept busy being husband to my beautiful wife and dad to my amazing two young boys. Weekends are usually spent following their football and cricket schedules and being taxi driver for all the chaos in between.

My personal interests include watching sport — I am a die-hard Liverpool fan — trying new foods and travelling. My last holiday was a trip to the Caribbean, and we are currently exploring a trip to Thailand.
