Meet Lois Kay Kay

Hi, I’m Lois Kay, a Mortgage and Protection Adviser based in Clitheroe, in the heart of the Ribble Valley.

Clitheroe is also where I live with my husband and our two dogs, Flo, a Labrador, and Ruby, a Border Terrier. Outside of work, I enjoy exploring Clitheroe and the surrounding Ribble Valley on dog walks, as well as visiting local wine shops and real ale bars. I also enjoy going out for meals with my family.

I began my career in financial services with Santander in 1987. I spent 33 years working in branches and progressed through the business while completing my financial services qualifications, enabling me to help people take their first steps onto the property ladder.

I later moved into business banking, supporting businesses with loans and mortgages. This experience gave me an understanding of both residential and commercial finance. Throughout my career, I have worked across several branches in the North West, from Colne to Bury, supporting clients in areas including Clitheroe, Whalley, Waddington, Chatburn and the wider Ribble Valley.

After leaving Santander, I became a mortgage broker. I now help clients in a range of circumstances, including first-time buyers, home movers and those looking to invest in buy-to-let properties.

Having worked in busy high-street branches and now as a self-employed adviser, I understand the mortgage market from different perspectives. I love meeting people, hearing their stories and helping them work towards their property and financial goals, whether they are based locally in Lancashire or further afield.
