Meet Jason Ward

Hi I’m Jason!

I have lived in and around the Swinton area for most of my life attending Swinton Comprehensive in the late 80’s. I spent over 20 years working as an engineer but decided to make a complete U-turn with my career and learned how to become a successful mortgage adviser, just as the big crash of 2008 happened which couldn’t have come at a better time to move into Mortgages. It was a struggle at first, but I soon found the right support from a great mentor. I started my new career as a Mortgage Adviser with a local chain of estate agents but made the switch to Spicerhaart and joined the Haybrook team in 2013. I eventually made my way back to my local branch in Swinton as this has been my hometown for years and know the area well. It was not an easy decision, but I eventually moved over the becoming a self-employed adviser in February 2021, incredibly ending up with a great new office with a local estate agency. I'm married and have two amazing girls who are growing incredibly fast. I would always say if you wanted to get in touch with me I will generally be in the Gym or behind my laptop but when we can we generally enjoy jetting off to the magic of Florida.
