Meet Geoff Page

Hi I’m Geoff!  I arrived in the area in the late 70's having moved from London with my parents as was common at the time. Attending Horringer Court Middle where I met my eventual wife as well as attending King Edward VI  I spent a couple of years working on various markets including Bury selling ladies clothes before the recession of the late 80's kicked in. What better time to move into estate agency where I worked my way through from a junior to Branch Manager ending up with what was then a fairly small firm called Spicer McColl. In 1998 I made the jump to a Mortgage Adviser. Having been asked previously I'd avoided the switch until the introduction of computers reduced the paperwork although it often doesn't feel like it. I've mainly been based in Cambridge and London but eventually went self employed in 2009, incredibly ending up at the same office I'd started at with the now much larger Spicerhaart group in Cambridge. A few years ago I decided to base myself in Bury as the A14 and Cambridge traffic eventually became my nemesis.

I'm married and have enjoyed the joy and pain of helping with kids football for some time as well as avidly following Chelsea from my sofa or bar stool. I've lived in Bury St Edmunds since the late 80's, now living on Moreton Hall.
