Meet Emma Nicholson

Hi, I'm Emma.

I've spent over 20 years working in financial services, including 16 years as a Mortgage & Protection Adviser. During that time, I've helped people from all walks of life achieve their property goals, whether that's buying a first home, moving to a bigger property, remortgaging, or making sure their family is protected for the future.

After building my career within several high street banks, I made the exciting decision to become self-employed with Just Mortgages. This move has given me the flexibility to work more closely with my clients, providing a personal service that is tailored to their individual needs and circumstances.

For me, mortgages are about much more than interest rates and paperwork. They're about helping people achieve important life goals, whether that's getting the keys to their first home, finding the perfect family property, or creating financial security for the future. I pride myself on making the process as straightforward and stress-free as possible, keeping my clients informed and supported every step of the way.

One of the things my clients quickly discover is how passionate I am about our local area. I've lived in Blyth all my life and couldn't imagine calling anywhere else home.

Living by the coast is something I've never taken for granted. One of my favourite ways to spend time is walking along Blyth Beach, whatever the season. Whether it's an early morning walk, a sunny family day out, or simply taking in the fresh sea air, it's one of the many reasons I love living here.

Another place that's close to my heart is Ridley Park. It's a fantastic community space and somewhere that's created many family memories over the years. From relaxing walks to spending quality time outdoors, it's one of Blyth's real gems.

As a family, we also enjoy visiting Northumberlandia. It's a unique landmark that showcases the beauty of our county and offers some wonderful walking routes and views across the surrounding countryside.

Being local means, I understand not only the housing market but also the communities that make Northumberland such a fantastic place to live. Family Life

When I'm not helping clients, you'll usually find me spending time with my husband, daughter, and our two dogs.

Family is incredibly important to me, and much of our free time is spent exploring the Northumberland coastline, visiting local attractions, or simply enjoying a walk together. Our dogs certainly make sure we get plenty of fresh air and exercise!

We love discovering new places close to home and making the most of everything our local area has to offer. From coastal walks and beach days to family outings across Northumberland, there is always something to enjoy.

A Love of Travel

While I love Northumberland, I also enjoy exploring further afield. Travelling has always been a passion of ours as a family, and we love creating new memories together whenever we get the opportunity.

Whether it's a city break, a beach holiday, or discovering somewhere completely new, I enjoy experiencing different cultures and seeing new places. However, no matter where we travel, it's always nice to come back home to the North East.
