Meet Christopher Nelson

Hi, I’m Chris!

I’ve spent over 10 years working with Just Mortgages, and before that I worked at Halifax for around five years. I started my career as a Mortgage Advisor at Halifax, then progressed to Haart estate agents in Doncaster town centre as a Just Mortgages advisor in 2013.

Over time, I decided to move from being an employed advisor within an estate agency in Doncaster to becoming self-employed to now running my own successful mortgage business from home in Retford. It wasn’t an easy decision, but it’s been a great step—allowing me to build a strong reputation as an advisor that offers excellent service and I now have forever growing client base.

I am married with 2 boys, Harley and Lucas. As a family we love nothing more than going on holiday to places like Redcar, Whitby, Saltburn By The Sea and the Yorkshire Dales. We've not quite plucked up the courage to take our boys abroad. Myself and my wife enjoy going shopping at Marshall's Yard in Gainsborough and venturing into our local Retford town centre. We are always happy to go for a coffee and sample the many coffee shops that Retford has to offer. Costa is always safe option for us. My hobbies include boxing from my home gym and boxing at Retford Amatuer Boxing club. I also enjoy gardening and have a keen interest in plants/trees.
