Meet Carrie Cotter

Hi, I’m Carrie.

I’m a Mortgage and Protection Adviser based in Burnham-on-Crouch, Essex, although I cover a large service area and support clients from across the country. I have been a Mortgage and Protection Adviser since 2008, having previously worked at Countrywide Mortgage Services in Bairstow Eves, and branches including but not limited to Basildon, Westcliff, Canvey and Benfleet.

I am a multi-award-winning Mortgage Consultant, and my proudest accomplishment to date — apart from my children — is achieving first place at the British Mortgage Awards. I enjoy helping my clients throughout their journey, from buying their first home to moving into a subsequent property or remortgaging. I also help clients protect their homes, families and health. I believe the key to being a good adviser is having a great level of technical knowledge, but more importantly, having the ability to listen and connect with what really matters to each client.

When I am not working, I love spending time with my three wonderful children and our numerous family pets. We particularly enjoy walking our Show Cocker Spaniels and visiting some of our favourite local places, including Maldon Promenade, Burnham seafront and Danbury Common — subject to the weather, of course!
